St. Augustine Shopping Plaza Sells For $14.4 Million, Residents Immediately Wonder What This Means For Parking
Parkway Commons off International Golf Parkway has new ownership, which is local real estate language for “someone check the traffic.”
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL — Parkway Commons has sold for $14.4 million, giving residents along the International Golf Parkway corridor a fresh opportunity to ask the traditional local question: “Great, but where is everyone going to park?”
The St. Augustine commercial property at 630 East Twincourt Trail sold May 12. The shopping plaza sits off International Golf Parkway, about a mile east of major World Commerce Center anchors including Bass Pro Shops, Buc-ee’s, and Costco.
Current tenants include Coldwell Banker, Anejo Cocina, and Island Life Bikes, which means the plaza already has the required mix of real estate, food, and something that suggests you should maybe get outside more.
The sale is another sign that the World Golf Village and International Golf Parkway area continues to attract investor attention as growth keeps pushing west and north like a Publix rumor with financing.
For locals, the question is less “who bought it?” and more “what happens next?” More restaurants? More services? More traffic? Another place where a left turn becomes a personal character test?
At publishing time, the parking lot had not commented, though sources say it is emotionally preparing for more opinions.
