Facebook Sleuths Narrow It Down To Either "Illegal Dumping" Or "Literally How Roads Are Made"

A blurry truck photo near Alt 210 sent St. Augustine Facebook into full detective mode, with residents split between “illegal dumping” and “basic construction.”

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL — A local Facebook investigation reached a major breakthrough this week after residents narrowed a suspicious concrete dumping incident down to two possibilities: an illegal environmental crime or the basic process of building infrastructure.

The case began when a truck was photographed near Alt 210 and US1, prompting immediate concern, speculation, and several constitutional debates in the comment section.

Within minutes, experts from every known field assembled online. Some believed the site was a private construction area. Others demanded action. Several people asked what they were even looking at. One person somehow made it political, as required by county ordinance.

By hour two, construction workers entered the thread and suggested the concrete may be crushed and reused as road base, a claim that briefly threatened to end the argument before everyone bravely continued anyway.

At press time, investigators were still reviewing blurry photos, personal property law, and whether “mind your business” counts as a zoning permit.
