Real-Satire
True stories, told with satirical voice.
REAL events and verified facts, written in our satirical voice. The story, the names, the dates, and what actually happened must all be true and sourced. You MAY add obviously-illustrative color — e.g. an imagined quote from an unnamed 'local resident,' a 'someone in the group chat,' a 'guy at the bar' — to give the piece voice, but it must be clear from context that it's a dramatization, not a real attributed quote. Never invent quotes from named real people, never invent crimes, accusations, business behavior, or facts about identifiable individuals. Think: real reporting wearing a comedy jacket, with the occasional invented bit of street-level color clearly framed as such.
